Japanese unlacquered brass wall hooks by artisan Chiba Kosakusho in Nagoya, Japan. Available in three distinct shapes that work well on their own or harmoniously mismatched together. The three simple designs are meticulously handcrafted from unlacquered brass to make the most of the characteristics of brass. The color of the finish will beautifully patina and change over time.

A husband and wife team personally handle every aspect of the process from design to production. The pride in their craft is evident in every piece made. 

Available In Three Styles:

• One Hook - a vertical rectangle design that is secured with a single provided brass screw and has minimal projection from the wall. The load capacity is less due to the sleek design, but still works well in most applications. Approx. W20 x H40 x D22.5mm / W.79" x H1.57" x D.89" - Load capacity: 1.5kg / 3.3lbs.
• Circle Hook - the wall mounted plate is round with two screws to secure the hook. The projection is the same as the Square Hook, but a bit further out than the One Hook. Approx. ⌀W35 x H45 x D43mm / ⌀1.38" x H1.78" x D1.7"
• Square Hook - a square plate with two screws to secure the hook to the wall. The projection is the same as the Circle Hook and extends further than the One Hook. External dimensions: W35 x H43 x D43mm / W1.38" x H1.7" x D 1.7"

Important Product Details:

• 32mm / 1.25" brass bare screws included
• Color of the unlacquered brass will change and patina over time. Fingerprints will initially be more visible on unlacquered brass.
• Brass screws are easy to break, so please be careful when installing
  • Be sure to drill pilot holes in the installation position beforehand
  • When tightening the screws, be sure to use a manual screwdriver, not a power tool
• Please use anchors when installing on plasterboard, concrete, etc. (not included and can be purchased at any hardware store - note the screw size when purchasing)
• Do not use near fire. Discoloration or deformation may occur.
• Note that rust may occur  in humid places such as outdoors or bathrooms. Wipe dry to avoid rusting.

Important Note: These towel bars are made of unlacquered brass. We ask for you to use gloves or fabric to handle it until you are sure you want to keep the item. Since it is made of unlacquered brass it will patina with handling and we are only able to accept returns in the original condition.
